This weekend I attended the Ardmore Ceramic Art exhibition at the Cellars-Honehort Hotel in Constantia, Cape Town. The exhibition was a feast for the eyes with 5 rooms filled to the brim with ceramics in all different colours, shapes and sizes. The Ardmore studio is situated in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands and its artists have been showered with international accolades since the studio opened in the mid-1980s. These “modern collectibles” can now be found at Buckingham Palace, The White House and museums and galleries around the world. Driven by the spirit of Ubuntu, you can feel the love and that goes into each and every piece. They are truly a joy to behold. Read more about the inspirational story of Ardmore here.
