Saint Verde is a beautiful nursery in the Natal Midlands specializing in all types of succulent's and agaves. To make space in their greenhouses before winter, they are having a huge sale on the 27th and 28th April. This is the perfect time to buy plants in bulk to fill spaces in the garden, create living walls and rock gardens or just to add a few new varieties to your potted collection. Don't miss this once off opportunity to find a bargain or even just take a stroll through the garden and enjoy the scenery.
This past weekend was the Colour Festival Durban, held at the Gateway Wavehouse. Hundreds of people gathered to listen to DJ's and hurl packets of powdered paint at each other. The event is Inspired by the Hindu Holi festival of colour held in Feb/March each year in India and other countries with large Indic diaspora populations. It looked like serious fun and made for some great pictures (photos by Luca Barausse photography)
