Heading in a very new direction, A Sum Of Parts is a collection of works documenting this exploration through varying mediums from painting to sketches to sculpture and photography. I found this giant book in our library, loved the images but could only fit parts of it in the scanner so here are a few snippets from the Harmonia Macrocosmica- A star atlas written by Andreas Cellarius and originally published in 1660. It contains copper plate prints depicting the world systems of Claudius Ptolemy, Nicolaus Copernicus and Tycho Brahe as well as maps of the classical and Christian constellations. View Article
