It’s only fitting that my final House Call of the year was to Miss Kate Chauncey‘s festive home. One of my favourite townies, I met Kate through her vintage venture, The Rah Rah Room where she would sell pieces of her vast collection from her living room. Visiting was always a treat, not only because of her fabulous vintage finds, but because of her equally beautiful and eclectic apartment. The space reflects Kate’s personality perfectly – with equal parts classic, romantic, creative and dramatic accompanied by a healthy dash of humour and a pinch of party. As soon I arrived I was greeted by coffee, a horoscope reading (Kate’s Sunday tradition) and a spoonful of choc-mint ice-cream.
