Last night saw the opening of Roger Ballen’s show Playpen at the KZNSA. If you are in Durban head on over and check out the selection of photographs from his series’ Boyhood, Platteland, Outland, Shadow Chamber, Boarding House and new works from Asylum. I can’t stop analysing it. As the curator said… “the work will stay with you long after you leave.”
