How would you describe your style?
I was struggling to answer this question and asked a few friends to help, the best answer I got was from my mom though, in her words I am, ‘’terribly old-fashioned’’! Ha! Love you ma.

What’s on your wish list?
A R700 bottle of real Mexican tequila, and can someone please buy me a TV already! (no 30th birthday hint intended)

What can’t you live without?
The friends and family that make my home so sacred. Also my books, incense, records, coffee, jungle jim magazines and at the moment, my amazing ceiling fan!

Who is your favorite local SA band/musician?
Aiden Cornhill. For me to take interest in any musician or band, I have to believe they mean it. Aiden sings with beautiful conviction. He also has a wonderful brother and future sister-in-law who I just adore!

Who is your favorite band of all time?
From a young age, there was always music playing in my house. One band that stood out for me all that time ago, and still does today, is undoubtedly The Smiths, and later Morrissey on his own. There’s something in that man’s voice that just convinces me! Having said that, The Beach Boys will always take me back to summer.

Where is your ultimate travel destination/s
Where isn’t is an easier question. Iv always been completely infatuated with the east, so Japan, Beijing, Angkor Wat in Cambodia……. I hear Yugoslavia is great in the spring too.

What’s on your bucket list?
I haven’t really thought about having one. I had hoped to just stumble upon adventure as it comes my way. I would, however, love to drink a white Russian, in Russia, with my best friend Mishka, while she pretends to speak Russian. Her fake accent is so good I bet you she would have the locals fooled!

You have the coolest couch ever… tell us the story?
Gosh dammit! Im always asked this question and I wish my story was more than I just saw it online and it was love at first sight. That’s all it really was. I brought him home to meet my folks. Its been 5 years and I think we more in love than ever. We stay up late together and watch Will Ferrell films. He always gets to hold the remote! He’s my boy blue!
