Jake Bester, Creative Director at Machine, is an all-round nice guy and, clearly, a good decorator. Jake bought the house 3 years ago and transformed it into the bright home that it is today. My favourite thing about Jake’s place (other than his Julio Iglesias record) is his use of natural, recycled materials (the chair I photographed was made from the house’s old pool deck) and little pops of plant life that bring the outdoors indoors, giving the place an organic feel without compromising on the cool.
