/A Word of Art has recently received a make-over. Situated in the newly renovated Woodstock Industrial Centre (now known as the Woodstock Exchange) the space is home to /A Word of Art, /ANDPEOPLE, /A Space and /A Studio.
/A Word of Art was founded in 2009 by Ricky Lee Gordon as an artist-run project space. The activist branch of /ANDPEOPLE, /A Word of Art is focused on creating a catalyst for art through various programmes including an international artist exchange project.
/A Space is a full time exhibition platform that is committed to showing work by emerging and mid-career creatives with a focus on urban contemporary painting and illustration. The current show, /A Space in Between, is on until 6 October 2012.
/A Studio provides a well stocked work space for visiting artists.
