I attended the inaugural Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa last week which boasted some of Africa’s preeminent fashion designers & as if that wasn’t enough, the organizers managed to get internationally renowned photographer/blogger Scott Schumann aka The Sartorialist as well as Sam Lambert on the roster. I was there to capture some of the street style, I pretty much ignored the runway material which was great in some pockets and not-so great in others. Overall I think Africa is making incredible strides and making its own unique statement on the world of fashion. I enjoyed shooting at the new Africa fashion week venue, namely Melrose Arch, Johannesburg, South Africa because the venue allowed for actual street style, you know, like in the actual street. Imagine that South Africa. In any event, I hope you like the selection that I kept aside especially for ItsWhatImInto.

SICK SICK SICK!!!
